Altogether 52 people, including four women, were arrested for allegedly consuming liquor in gardens of two hotels, which didn't have license to serve alcohol in the open, police said today.
"48 men and 4 women were caught from the gardens of two hotels on Ajmer highway late last night. The hotel staffer were serving them liquor in open premises (gardens) for which they had no license," DCP Rahul Jain said.
Additional DCP Karan Sharma said that the hotels had bar license but not for serving the liquor in the open.

"We did not take any action against the hotels. It is for the excise department to see," he said.
All the 52 people were taken into custody under section 151 of CrPC (Arrest to prevent the commission of cognisable offences) and released on bond subsequently.
