In a major reshuffle, 54 Delhi Police officers were today transferred.
The transferred officials include Station House Officers (SHOs) of Jamia Nagar, Mangesh Tyagi, who led the murder case of NDMC Estate Officer M M Khan, and of Lajpat Nagar, Ramesh Kumar, who supervised the case of a 60-year-old eatery owner's murder last month.
Eight of the tranferred officials are from Delhi Police's south-east district, followed by six each from central and south districts. Also five inspectors from Crime Branch and two each from the Traffic and the Economics Offences Wing, sources said.
Police stations which has witnessed change in Station House Officer (SHO) include Mehrauli, Kamla Market, Karol Bagh, Vasant Kunj (South), Chanakyapuri, Greater Kailash, Kalkaji, Nizamuddin, Safdarjung Enclave, Moti Nagar and Rajouri Garden, they said.
