The Vigilance department of Punjab today conducted surprise checks at the office of Director of Health services and found 55 officials absent.
During the checking, a total of 55 out of 469 officers/officials were found absent, an official release said here.
These included Director Family Welfare Dr Usha Bansal, Deputy Director E.S.I. Dr. Kamaljit Singh, Deputy Director Rakesh Keshyap, Assistant Director Dr. Arit Kaur, Registrar Kishore Kumar Sridhar, Deputy Director (Dental) Aprampar Kaur, Deputy Director cum Chief Vigilance Officer Dr. Pawan Gupta, among others.
The checking lasted for 15 minutes from 9.15 A.M., it said.
