Police today seized 56 kg of dry cannabis in a raid conducted at Siva Nagar here.
The ganja was packed in 26 boxes and meant for distribution in Maharashtra and other states, said Warangal SP M Surendranath and Mills Colony circle inspector L Satyanarayana.
In another incident, police seized 600 litres of gudumba (country-made liquor) while it was transported in an auto rickshaw at Gavicherla cross roads in the city.
