It is good news for food lovers, for the Asian Hawkers Market is back in town with 15 new brands spicing up the gastronomical quotient in its fifth edition.
Placed comfortably during the pre-diwali weekend between October 13 and 15, the food fiesta at Select City Walk here, promises to serve the best of pan-Asian food -- from Tibetan street food and Japanese sushi, to lip smacking varieties of rice and noodle food bowls.
A host of new restaurants joining the market include, Enoki, Imperfecto, Kofuku, Just Wok It, Popo Lafing, Sushi Junction, W.D. (Whistling Duck) House, and the famous Yum Yum Cha, among others.

"The vibe will definitely be different this year. It will be a pre-Diwali party that you'll remember for a long time," Tanveer Kwatra, celebrated chef and one of the co-founders of the Asian Hawkers Market, said.
Significant additions to this edition will include a new fortified peanut butter range by Veeba, online food delivery service -- Fresh Menu, ITC Master Chef's packaged prawns served up in myriad styles, and other attractions.
The entertainment factor has also been revamped with a dragon dance to be performed daily, along with live acts by up-and-coming artists.
Celebrated DJ Daniel Rajan will also be playing at the event.
Popular blogger Sourish Bhattacharyya said they expected the turnout to exceed that of last season, which was over 80,000.
Asian Hawkers Market will come to a close on October 15.
