A 6.1-magnitude earthquake hit a county in southwest China's Yunnan Province at 9:20 am Beijing Time today, the China Earthquake Networks Centre said.
The epicentre was in Yingjiang County, the Dai-Jingpo Autonomous Prefecture of Dehong at a depth of 12 km, it said according to reports in the state-run Xinhua news agency.
