Six persons were arrested and three pistols and 10 live cartridges seized from them in Kardhani area, police said today.
A special police team formed to control activities of criminals nabbed Surendra Chalka, Rajendra Singh, Ujagar Singh, Ranjit Singh, Devendra Kumar and Sonu Singh near Army area here, Police Commissioner Sanjay Agrawal said.
They were planning to rob some businessmen, he said, adding three pistols, 10 live cartridges, an iron rod and sticks were recovered from them.
One of the accused, Rajendra Singh, who was carrying a cash reward of Rs 5,000 on his head, confessed to have robbed a businessman in Chittorgarh district last year, Agarwal said.
