Six people, including three women, were killed on Friday and four injured after their car plunged into a gorge in Tehri Garhwal district, police sources said.
The accident took place near Devidhar on Jwarna-Bagiyal motor road when the car in which they were travelling fell into a 250-300 metre deep gorge, they added.
Five people died on the spot while the sixth person passed away on way to the hospital.
The injured were rushed to the district hospital here.
