6 firemen injured in road accident

Six fire brigade personnel were injured when the vehicle in which they were travelling overturned near Krishna Nagar Chauraha on Jagdishpur-Jamo Road today, police said.

Circle Officer of Police (Tiloi) Madhuban Kumar Singh said the accident took place when the firemen were going to Rajamau in Jamo on call of a fire breakout.

The fire personnel, posted at Mohanganj fire station, were taken to the community health centre in Jagdishpur.

They were discharged after first-aid, the officer said.
