Imtiyaz and five other persons were arrested for setting the house of one Chandra Kumar Singh in Biswan area on fire yesterday due to dispute related to local body elections, they said.
A complaint in this regard was lodged by Singh against Imtiyaz and 12 others, SHO Biswan Hemant Kumar said.
Attempts are on to nab the remaining people accused in the arson.
