Authorities say two motorists were injured and six horses killed in a series of crashes after the horses got loose from a western Ohio farm.
WHIO-TV reports that authorities say as many as 20 horses were still at large by dawn today. Three had been captured and one injured.
Miami County sheriff's deputies say there were at least five separate crashes, the first one at about 3:30 a.M. Two drivers were taken to a hospital and are expected to recover. Deputies are warning motorists in the area to be alert for roaming horses.
WHIO reports that the horses came from a family farm, possibly getting through a hole in a fence. A phone message left for the farm owner wasn't immediately returned.
