Six persons were killed when an SUV collided with a truck near here in the wee hours of today, police said.
The mishap took place around 1 am at Medikondur village when the SUV, a Bolero, collided head-on with the truck coming from the opposite direction, Circle Inspector of Police P Balaji said.
Due to the collision, six people travelling in the car died on the spot, he said.
The deceased were identified as Raghavendra Rao (55), Madunu Rajarao (47), Dasari Kiran(43), Srinivasa Rao (32), Venkata Subbareddy (47) and Posa Venkata Narayana, the officer said.
