Six persons were killed and 36 others injured when a bus overturned in southwest China's Chongqing Municipality.
The tourist bus carrying 53 people overturned last evening on a road section in Wulong County after a tyre burst.
The injured have been sent to hospitals.
In another incident, at least 17 miners were trapped after a coal mine gas blast occurred in Xinjiang last night.
The blast occurred when 20 people were working inside the mine. Three of them have been rescued. A rescue is going on.
The No.1 coal pit mined by Dahuangshan Yuxin Coal Mining Co. Ltd. Is 120 km away from Urumqi, Xinjiang's regional capital.
