Six persons were killed and 11 injured today in two separate accidents in Uttarakhand's Almora and Tehri districts.
Four persons were killed and two others injured when the jeep they were travelling in fell into a gorge in Almora district in the wee hours, the State Emergency Operation Centre said here.
The mishap occurred at around 4 AM when the jeep, a Bolero, fell into a gorge near Danpo village of the district killing four persons on the spot and leaving two injured, it said.

The injured have been admitted to the government hospital, Ranikhet.
The deceased have been identified as Vipin Ram, Surendra Singh, Har Singh Negi and Ram Singh.
In another similar accident, a jeep fell into a deep gorge at Almas near Thatyund in Tehri district at 3.30 PM killing two persons and leaving nine others injured.
The injured have been admitted to hospitals in Thatyund and Mussoorie, the Emergency Operation Centre said.
Chief Minister Harish Rawat expressed grief at the loss of lives in the two accidents and directed the District Magistrates concerned to make all arrangements for proper treatment of the injured.
