Six members of family including a four-year-old boy were today charred to death in a pre-dawn fire in a house in Pakistan's walled city of Lahore.
The fire broke out at the three-storey building at 3.30 am in Lahori Gate, authorities said.
The firefighters faced difficulty in reaching the area because of narrow alleys.

"The firefighters managed to extinguish the fire in a struggle of five hours and rescued four people,"a rescue official said.
He said six members of a family - Shahid, his wife, his sister, son, daughter and a four-year-old grandson - trapped in the fire were killed.
