Six powerful bombs planted below a road by suspected ultras targeting security forces were recovered today from a hilly area in naxal-affected Palamau district, a police officer said.
Two cylinder bombs of 20 kg each, two can bombs of 10 kg each and two 10 kg IEDs were found from Chinia Pahar near Rania-Masuria village under Manatu police station, Superintendent of Police Indrajeet Mahatha said.
A 50 meter codex wire was also recovered, Mahatha said adding that an FIR has been registered in this regard.
The recovery was made during anti-naxal operation by the District Armed Police and CRPF.
