6 PPS shifted in Punjab

The state government today transferred six officers of the Punjab Police Services (PPS) cadre with immediate effect, official said.

The transferred officers included that of rank of Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) and Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP), an official spokesman said.

Bal Krishan Singla has been posted as ACP Investigation, Amritsar, while Jaswant Kaur goes as ACP South, Amritsar.

Parminder Singh has been posted as DSP Investigation, Jalandhar (Rural), while Harpal Singh as DSP, Dera Baba Nanak.

Gagnesh Kumar goes as DSP 80th Batallion, Punjab Armed Police (PAP), Jalandhar and Ram Parkash becomes DSP, 27th Batallion, PAP, Jalandhar, the spokesman said.
