Police today claimed to have arrested six robbers in Punjab's Moga district and recovered six pistols and sharp-edged weapons from their possession.
A raid was conducted at Chanuwala village on a tip-off and the robbers were planning a major heist when they were nabbed, the police said.
The accused have confessed to half-a-dozen snatching and as many robberies, they claimed, adding investigations are on to know their modus operandi.
Those arrested have been identified as Dilpreet Singh, Pritam Singh, Mandeep Singh, Onkar Singh, Satikar Singh and Sukhraj Singh, the police said.
