Seven persons, including six women farm labourers, died on the spot and five others were seriously injured today when a lorry rammed into a parked tractor near here.
All the victims were in the tractor and engaged in harvesting of jowar crop in the roadside field at Golasangi, 45 km from here, District Superintendent of Police D Prakash said.
The harvesting machine was attached to the tractor.
The deceased included the driver, he said, adding, the injured had been admitted to a government hospital here.
