In a horrific incident, a six-year-old Hazara Shia Muslim girl has been strangulated after being subjected to repeated rape attempts in the capital city of Pakistan's troubled Balochistan province.
Body of the minor girl, who belonged to the minority Hazara community was found in a garbage dump on Wednesday but the incident was kept under wraps by the police and authorities until today.
City Police Officer of Quetta, Razzaq Cheema admitted that the investigators had so far been clueless in finding a lead or motive behind the killing.

But he ruled out any sectarian link to the murder of the girl stating that some people were misleading others on the social media.
The minor's body was found near a garbage dump, close to the Army facility where her father worked as gardener.
"Even the distraught parents have no idea why she was killed in such a brutal manner," he said.
The gruesome rape and murder of the young girl has come at a time when Hazaras have been targeted relentlessly by militant groups in apparent sectarian attacks including suicide bomb attacks and incidents where they were shot dead in cold blood after being taken off pilgrimage buses.
Cheema said they were lot of bruises on the body of the girl which showed attempts were made to rape her but she resisted after which she was killed.
"We are questioning some people because it could be she knew her kidnappers," he said.
