Railway officials today fined 602 persons allegedly travelling without tickets in four trains at Modinagar railway station.
RPF and GRPF personnel were pressed into service to seal the whole station and carry out checking for ticket-less travellers causing huge ruckus at Modinagar, Railway officials said.
ACM of the Railways K C Meena said that Rs 2,98,776 was collected by levying fine on ticket-less travellers of four trains including Ambala Passanger and Shalimar Express.
