Over 60 lakh saplings will be planted in Rajasthan in the second phase of the state's water conservation program, chief minister Vasundhara Raje said.
Raje said the Mukhyamantri Jal Swavalamban Abhiyan (MJSA) would now help in increasing green cover in the state along with water conservation.
She was speaking at a 'Van Mahotsav' programme in Govindpura Beed village near here,

Union environment minister Harsh Vardhan said that the programme would go a long way in environment protection in the state.
He also said the state government's initiative of geo- tagging trees under the Abhiyan is an appreciable move.
