The 60th National School Games will kick start here from February 4.
Talking to reporters here this evening, Director General, Youth Services and Sports (YSS), Naveen Aggarwal said the Department of YSS will host various National School Games in different disciplines for Boys and Girls under all age groups from February 4.
He said after the successful conduct of 60th National School Games (NSG) in badminton U-14 years boys and girls recently held at Jammu, the department has proposed to host 60th National School Games under the aegis of School Games Federation of India in Speed Ball and Roll Ball in the U-19 age category from February 4.

Divisional Commissioner Jammu, Shantmanu, Director Information, Mukhtar-ul-Aziz were also present on the occasion.
The Director General said that venue for Speed Ball competition will be at Mahavir International School, 17 Miles NH- 1A, District Samba. He further said that the venue for Roll Ball competition U-19 age category will be held at Delhi Public School, Rajbagh District Kathua.
The competitions will be held from February 4 to 7 and wil, include teams from CBSE, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Gujarat, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, Maharashtra, Punjab, Telangana and Uttar Pradesh.
About 20 state level teams from 12 states have confirmed their participation in the event.
"It is for the first time in the history of Samba and Kathua districts that they will have the privilege to host the National School Games in their districts," Aggarwal said.
