Sixty six candidates from Delhi and Haryana were arrested for allegedly cheating during a Staff Selection Commission exam held in Sikar district of Rajasthan by using a special bugging device fitted in their vest.
The arrested were caught using automatic mini mobile like bugging devices at the 28 centres where the exam was being held yesterday, SP Sikar Haider Ali Zaidi said.
"The device had incoming facility only. Its minute receiver, not easily visible, was plugged into the candidates' ears. A person from outside, who had the list of answers, was dictating them in serial order," he said.
