Even as the case sparked outrage, another woman in Haryana was allegedly raped at gun point in her house by three men, who made a video clip of the crime and circulated it Jind district.
National Commission for Scheduled Caste (NCSC), which had yesterday taken strong exception to the delay in nabbing the key accused, today sought an action taken report (ATR) from Haryana administration at the earliest on the Hisar incident which took place earlier this month and has asked Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda to ensure that such incidents are not repeated.
Haryana Director General of Police R S Dalal said the family of the gangrape victim in Dabra village in Hisar has been provided security.
Five persons, including three main accused--Vikas, Rajkumar and Pawan, against whom a FIR had been registered werea arrested from Almora in Utarakhand where they were hiding in a hotel. Besides, two more persons have been arrested from elsewhere for allegedly giving shelter to the culprits, he said, adding the total number of arrests made in the case so far has risen to nine.
Dalal said the Hisar SP had been directed to approach the District and Sessions Judge with a request to constitute a fast track court so that decision could be made on this case within three months to provide timely justice to victim's family and punishment to the accused.

Hisar's Superintendent of Police B Satheesh Balan said they had confessed to the crime and will be produced before a court here tomorrow, adding police teams had already been sent to other states including Rajasthan, to nab the remaining three accused.
The teenage Dalit girl was allegedly raped a fortnight back by the youths who had also threatened to make public her objectionable pictures, following which her shocked father committed suicide on September 18.
Meanwhile, in yet another shocking case of crime against women in Haryana, a mother of two was allegedly ganagraped at gunpoint by three men, who were familiar with the family, when she was alone in her house at Pilu Khera Mandi.
Her husband was away for work when the incident occurred on September 21.
The accused allegedly also filmed the crime and circulated it in the village, police said.
"We have registered an FIR yesterday and two of the accused have been arrested," Jind SP, Sourabh Singh said.
"Nothing can be more shameful than rape of a dalit girl in independent India. We have asked the state government to register a case under the SC/ST Atrocities Act and have sought an ATR from the district administration at the earliest," NCSC Chairman P L Punia told PTI here, adding the Commission will provide the victim Rs 5 lakh to the Hisar victim.
