Seven persons have been booked here on the charge of acquiring more than one plot in residential sectors of Haryana Urban Development Authority (HUDA) under reserve quota, police said today.
The accused got the plots by allegedly submitting forged documents, they said.
On the complaint of Estate Officer, HUDA Hisar, police registered case under various IPC sections including 420 (cheating), 406 (criminal breach of trust) against the accused, they said.

Those booked were Bhim Sain of Hisar, Mohan Lal of Rewari, Gurdev Singh of Sirsa, Satybir Singh of Kurukshetra, Nafe Singh of Sonepat, Vidya Devi and Sumar Singh of Hisar, police said.
On the directions of the Punjab and Haryana High Court last year, HUDA detected allottees who were having more than one plot under reserved quota.
