At least seven persons of two families were injured in an acid attack incident following a fight over garbage dumping in Kanakpur village under Kanpur police station here today, police said.
The injured were out of danger and were undergoing treatment at a local hospital here, Cuttack rural SP Gurudas Kundu said, adding, though no one was arrested but two separate cases have been registered in this connection.
The families picked up quarrel early this morning over dumping of garbage following which the fight took place, they said.
