7 injured in clash over property dispute in Raj

At least seven persons were injured when two groups belonging to a minority community clashed with each other over a property dispute in Ranwara village here, police said today.

The incident occurred yesterday when one of the groups went to plough an agriculture field and the people from the other group objected following which they indulged in fighting with sharp edged weapons and sticks, police said.

Injured, belonging to both the groups, were rushed to a hospital in Pokharan. Subsequently, four seriously injured were referred to a hospital in Jodhpur, they said.

Counter FIRs were lodged with the Sankara police station, they said adding that no arrest has been made so far in this connection.
