Seven persons were killed and 10 injured when their mini van collided with a lorry at a village near Udayarpalayam in this district today, police said.
The occupants of the van were returning home after attending a condolence meeting at Katchiperumal village when the mishap occurred, they said.
All seven persons were killed on the spot. All the injured have been hospitalised.
The lorry driver was not among those injured, police added.
