Seven persons were killed and four others injured after being hit by a sppeding truck near Azizpur village here today, police said.
The mishap took place when the victim's car was hit by another truck from behind after which they engaged in a verbal dule with the driver of the vehicle.
Maewnhile, during their spat, a traula laden with iron bars hit them, leading to the death of five persons on the spot, they said.
Later, one of the injured died on his way to hospital while another died during the treatment, police said.
The rest have been admitted in hospital in serious condition.
A case has been registered in this regard while efforts are on trace out the absconding driver and cleaner, they added.
