At least seven members of a family, including five children, were today killed and four others injured when a house collapsed due to heavy rains in the tribal region of northwest Pakistan.
The family members were sleeping when the roof of the house in Datta Khel area of North Waziristan Agency collapsed due to torrential rains, killing five children and injuring two women, police said.
The bodies were pulled out from the debris of the house while the injured have been admitted to a hospital.
Over 60 people have been killed and several others injured in Pakistan due to accidents triggered by torrential rains wreaking havoc in the country.
