At least seven persons were killed and eight others injured today when the van they were travelling in fell into a gorge after colliding with a car in northwest Pakistan, police said.
The incident occurred on Indus Highway near Band Daud Shah in District Karak of Khyber-Pakthunkhwa province.
The van was on its way to Bannu district from Peshawar when it met with accident, police said, adding that seven persons were killed and eighth others injured.
The injured people were taken to district hospital for treatment.
