7 killed in separate road accidents in Rajasthan

Seven persons, including a police inspector, were today killed in two separate road accidents in Rajasthan.

An SUV collided head-on with a truck in Pali district, leaving four persons dead, police said.

They have been identified as police inspector Ram Singh (52), who was posted in Jodhpur, Jitendra Godara (42), who owned a private college in Jodhpur, Jaiprakash (25) and Bharat.

Bharat was driving the car of Godara and all of them were on their way to Jaipur from Jodhpur, SHO, Raipur, Rajendra Singh said.

In another incident, three persons were killed in a collision between a state roadways and a motorcycle in the Chandwaji area near here.
 

The deceased have been identified as Sohan Lal (32), Suresh (33) and Shyoji (34).

They were friends and on their way to Chandwaji town from a nearby village, police said.

The bodies were handed over to family members after postmortem, they added.
