A seven-year-old girl was today allegedly raped by her neighbour in village Kirra under Khurja Dehat Police Station here, police said.
According to SSP Anant Dev Tiwari, the girl is in serious condition and has been referred to Meerut for medical care.
The guardians of victim, a Balmiki, have accused one Neelu (17) of the same village, Tiwari said.
The suspect in the case is absconding, he said, adding investigation is underway and efforts are on to nab the accused.
