A seven-year-old girl was allegedly sexually abused by a 14-year-old boy near here, police said today.
They said the girl was yesterday returning home after buying some items from a shop and followed the boy as he assured her that he would safely escort her. But he took her to an isolated area and allegedly sexually abused her.
The girl complained to her parents, police said, adding, the boy was detained, produced before a Judicial Magistrate and sent to a juvenile home.
