Intelligence sleuths today seized 700 kg ganja, valued at Rs 28 lakh, from a truck at Hathidah village in Bihar's Patna district, official sources said.
Acting on a tip-off, the DRI sleuths intercepted a Varanasi-bound truck coming from Manipur and recovered the consignment of ganja hidden in a stepney and a special cavity in the body of the vehicle, the sources said.
Two persons, Rubul Hussain, hailing from Assam and Ali Hussain from Nagaland, were arrested under the NDPS Act on the charge of smuggling of contraband substance, they said.
