The balloting was peaceful and no untoward incident was reported from anywhere during the exercise

Press Trust of India Bhopal
A healthy 75.28% voter turnout was today recorded during re-polling at six booths spread over five Assembly constituencies in Madhya Pradesh, official sources said.

The balloting was peaceful and no untoward incident was reported from anywhere during the exercise, they said.

The re-polling was ordered by the Election Commission after receiving reports of irregularities at these booths from the State Election Office during the November 25 voting to elect a new Assembly in the state.

These polling centres were spread over districts of Bhind, Morena, Rewa, Jabalpur and Ujjain.

Counting of votes in Madhya Pradesh will take place on December 8.
