Military spokesman Brigadier Ruwan Wanigasuriya said the soldiers will head for Lebanon on Monday.
Sri Lankan troops have formed part of the UN peace keepers since 2004. They would be joining 75 troops who are already stationed in Lebanon.
Sri Lankan troopers also serve as UN peace keeping staff officers in Lebanon, Sudan and at UN headquarters.
Wanigasuriya said that troops serving in the peace keeping force serve for a period of six months while observers and staff officers serve in the UN for a period of one year.
