8 killed after inhaling poisonous gas in mine in China

Eight miners have been killed after inhaling poisonous gas at an iron mine in China.

Nine people who inhaled toxic gas at the mine in Hebei Province were yesterday rushed to a hospital where eight of them died, sate-run Xinhua news agency reported today.

The mine is owned by Hanxing Mining, affiliated with China Minmetal Corporation.
