Eight persons, including three women, were killed and 10 others injured in two separate road accidents here, police said today.
In the first incident, five persons were killed when a jeep in which they were travelling overturned after hitting a stationary truck in Tonk district today.
The deceased included three women and a three-day-old baby, police said, adding, the bodies were handed over to the families after post-mortem.
In another incident, three persons were killed and 10 others injured after a jeep fell into a well in Kota district yesterday.
The mishap occurred last night in Padampura village when the driver lost control over the vehicle and it hit the boundary of the well located along the roadside and fell into it, police said.
