Nearly 80 sheep have died allegedly after drinking poisonous water in Dhaneli village here in the past two days, officials said today.
Joint Director of the Animal Husbandry Department Malkhan Singh Meena said, "Nearly 8O sheep have died and 200 are sick after drinking contaminated water from a tank. As per post-mortem reports, the cause of the deaths is intake of poisonous water."
A medical team has been formed and sent to the village, 80 km from here, he said.
