81 pc students of AMC-run schools cleared SSC exam this year

As many as 81 per cent of the students of the schools run by the Aurangabad Municipal Corporation who took the std 10th (SSC) examination this year have passed, compared to just 53 per cent last year.

AMC chief Harshdeep Kamble felicitated the the successful students of corporation-run schools here today.

Education officer A M Shaikh said the students who scored more than 80 percent marks would be given a cash award of Rs 50,000 each.

The AMC-run Urdu school at Shahbazar registered a 95 percent result, while Mitmita AMC school recorded cent percent result.

Of the 383 students of AMC-run schools who took the SSC examination this year, 307 passed. 21 students scored more than 75 percent marks.
