An 83-year-old man was gored to death by a cow while he was out on a morning walk in a park in northwest Delhi's Adarsh Nagar today, police said.

They said that Inderpal was severely injured in the attack by the cow and died during treatment.

Inderpal used to stay with his family in the Kewal Park extension area and had gone for a walk this morning in a park near his home.

While he was taking a walk, the cow attacked park's caretaker Akhtar Kham, who somehow saved himself. But the cow then attacked Inderpal.

Khan alerted locals, who scared the cow away, but Inderpal had been severely injured by that time, police said.
