Two persons were arrested after eight kilogrammes of ganja were seized from them at Rampurhat railway station here today morning, police said.
The two arrested were identified as Jahirul Seikh and Jamirul Islam, SDPO, Rampurhat sub-division Koteswar Rao said.
The duo reached Rampurhat station from Guwahati by Balurghat-Kolkata Express this morning and were waiting for customers near the station when police nabbed them acting on a tip-off, he said.
The two miscreants are members of an inter-state narcotics racket, Rao said.
