Jharkhand government has decided to establish nine cultural revival centres for as many local languages/dialect.
A government spokesperson said the Cabinet, presided by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, decided today to establish the nine cultural revival centres for nine local languages/dialects, which has been earlier given the status of second language in the state.
As per the decision of the Cabinet, the cultural revival centre for 'Ho' language will be establish at Chaibasa, for Mundari centre in Khunti, for Santhali at Dumka, for Khadia at Simdega, for Kudukh at Gumla, for Nagpuri at Ranchi, for Panchpargania at Bundu, for Kurmali at Silli and for Khoratha at Bokaro.
