"We are satisfied with the progress. Of the 664 schemes in various sectors announced, 374 were implemented totally while 235 are in different stages of completion," Chief Minister Oommen Chandy said, presenting the UDF government's 'progress report' for the last one year at a press conference here.

The state had made good progress in infrastructure development, but could not make much improvement in some projects like the high-speed rail corridor, he said.

The Chief Minister said that to ensure speedy clearance of investment proposals discussed at the recently held 'Emerging Kerala Global Investor' meet, an Investment Promotion Council with him as chairman and an Investment Clearance Board under the Chief Secretary has been constituted.

Chandy said UDF government's agenda was 'Development with Care' and it was moving ahead with its schemes to achieve this objective.
