Konkona Sen Sharma's critically acclaimed debut directorial work 'A Death in the Gunj' will have special screening at the 6th Dharamshala International Film Festival (DIFF).
The festival will be held from November 2-5 at Mcleod Ganj, Dharamshala, a press release said here.
Konkona will be present at the special screening, it said adding many Indian and international directors will attend DIFF 2017 to present their work and participate in question and answer sessions.

Festival director Ritu Sarin said, "Over the past six years, DIFF has carved out a niche for itself among the Indian film festivals."
The first edition of DIFF was held in 2012. Since then, it has come to be known as one of India's leading independent film festivals.
DIFF 2017 will also feature the Indian premiere of 'Out of This World' (USA), a restored version of journalist and writer Lowell Thomas' account of his travels to Tibet in 1949. The film had been released in 1954, the release said.
This year's feature film package includes Karma Takapa's 'Ralang Road', premiered at this year's Karlovy Vary Film Festival and the first Indian film to be selected at the prestigious event after 13 years. The others are Dain Said's 'Interchange' (Malaysia, 2016), Yaniv Berman's 'Land of the Little People' (Israel, 2016), Dechen Roder's 'Honeygiver Among the Dogs' (Bhutan, 2016), Yoshinori Sato's 'Her Mother' (Japan), Mano Khalil's 'The Swallow' (Switzerland) and Deepak Rauniyar's Oscar entry from Nepal, 'White Sun'.
'White Sun' had been premiered at the 73rd Venice Film Festival and won Interfilm Award and the new voices/new visions grand jury prize at the Palm Springs festival.
This year's line-up of documentaries include two award-winning film - Kirsten Johnson's 'Cameraperson' (USA, 2016), Rahul Jain's 'Machines' (India, 2016) which were screened at 10 international film festivals and won the World Cinema Documentary Special Jury Award for Excellence in Cinematography at 2017's Sundance Film Festival.
