Eight-time National award winning editor Sreekar Prasad says it was a 'fanboy' moment for him when he got the opportunity to work with superstar Rajinikanth in 'Kaala', which is slated for release on June 7.
Prasad, who edited the Pa Ranjith-directed movie, met the top star twice during the process of film making.
"He was always very passionately asking about how the film was shaping up but he never interfered in creative decisions," Prasad told PTI.
In Kaala, it was the director who took all creative decisions, he said.
"I am working with the superstar for the first time, a fanboy moment as had been seeing most of his films since when I was younger...," Prasad said.
