Delhiites today woke up to a humid morning with minimum temperature settling at 26.8 degree Celsius, a notch above the season's average.
According to India Meteorological Department (IMD), humidity level recorded till 8.30 AM was 82 per cent which caused discomfort to the residents of national capital.
An official of the department has predicted light rains in some areas in the evening.
"Sky will be mainly clear till afternoon but will turn partly cloudy by evening. There is possibility of light rains in evening," the official said.
The maximum temperature is expected to settle at 35 degree Celsius.
Yesterday, the maximum and minimum temperature were recorded at 35.2 degrees Celsius and 26.8 degrees Celsius, respectively.
