A kid-centric version of musical reality competition television series "Lip Sync Battle" is in the works at Nickelodeon.
Producers Casey Patterson and Jay Peterson praised the show as "family co-viewing" in a statement announcing "Lip Sync Battle Jr", reported Digital Spy.
The producers continued: "Lip Sync Battle's multi-generational appeal is our favorite part of the show and the whole Lip Sync Battle family is very excited about developing a new music-based, comedy variety format to showcase how much our Lip Sync Battle kids rock!
"It's all the fun of Lip Sync Battle, only smaller!"
Contestants for "Lip Sync Battle Jr" will be revealed later in the year.
